Hello Family!
We are having our 2nd Chinese Auction fundraiser on Saturday, May 18th from noon to 3 pm. Cousin Thelma Bradley is hard at work planning an awesome family event! What is a Chinese Auction you might ask? Think of it as a combination between a raffle and a silent auction. It will be a fun event for the family, friends and the entire community. Food and drinks will be sold as a part of the fundraiser as well.
To support this event we are asking you to donate at least 3 prizes to be auctioned off. The prizes should be something new/unused and can be something that you already have at home. We would like prizes for men, women and children. The prizes need to be dropped off at the reunion center by Friday, May 17th or early the morning of the event (May 18th).
We will also be distributing envelopes of tickets that we will pre-sale to our friends and family. Each envelope will be sold for $5.00 and include 25 tickets that can be used to bid on the prizes for the auction. A raffle ticket will also be attached to the front of each envelope for a chance to win various door prizes. The goal is to pre-sale 200 envelopes of tickets, which would be $1000.00. In addition, our aim is to get as many people as possible to come down and participate in the auction.
This event will be great exposure for our reunion center and a fun time for everyone!
